Register for 10th Annual Rackets Up! Tennis Fundraiser in Naples on 4/5/14

NAPLES, Fla. - March 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Tennis players and devotees are invited to register now for the 10th Annual “Rackets Up!” Tennis Tournament being held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.  The cost is $35 and includes a catered lunch, T-shirt, prizes and a Silent Auction with proceeds benefitting The Salvation Army’s Child Care Center.

The Round Robin format will be ability-grouped and all games will be played at the Arthur L. Allen Tennis Center at Cambier Park in Naples.  Single players are also encouraged to sign up. Pre-Registration deadline is March 31, call 239-775-9447 ext. 26355 to register via credit card.

This annual tennis event gives players at all levels the opportunity to enjoy a fun day of friendly competition, ultimately leading to final championship matches at Center Court to determine the best male and best female player.  Last year, more than 50 players participated in the event which helps keep The Salvation Army’s Day Care and After School programs affordable.  The Salvation Army currently provides scholarships to approximately 25% of children who attend their Child Care Center programs.
