Kambrian Corporation Receives Supplier of the Year Award, Class II, 2013 Award by WBEC-West
Minority Business Enterprise Owner Cathy Hsieh Leads IT Innovation Company to Multiple Awards
WEST COVINA, Calif. - March 5, 2014 - PRLog -- Kambrian Corporation, an information technology solution provider, a women business enterprise (WBE), has been awarded Supplier of the Year Award, Class II, 2013 by Women Business Enterprise Council-West (WBEC-West) 2013. The Class II category includes businesses that have over $1 million and under $9.9 million in annual sales. Kambrian was previouslynominated in 2012 in Class II by WBEC-West as Supplier of the Year.
Kambrian Corporation was also nominated for Southern California Minority Supplier Development Council. Supplier of the Year Award in 2013 for Class II category. A minority business enterprise (MBE), Kambrian was recommended by the Los Angeles World Airports supplier diversity team. In 2011 Kambrian was nominated for the same award in Class I category, which includes businesses with annual revenues below $1 million. That year, the company received the Class I Winner’s Circle Award.

In addition to running a multi-million dollar corporation, Hsieh also serves as the WBEC-West Regional Forum Chair. One of her primary roles is to develop beneficial business opportunities between corporate members and certified Woman Business Enterprises. Hsieh is also on the board of directors for the Asian Business Association, Los Angeles as well as on the MBE Input Committee for SCMSDC.

Hsieh holds an MBA from Cornell and a BA in electrical engineering from UCLA. Prior to starting Kambrian Corporation, she worked for Microsoft and Honeywell in sales, marketing, operations and project management.
Hsieh was born in Taiwan and speaks fluent Mandarin.
