By: Balzer Project Tours for Travelers was born out of passion for travel, art and culture. Sheehy spent more than twenty years traveling around the world as part of an import business he held prior to opening Café Maude seven years ago. Earlier this year, he closed the Loring Park Café Maude location and now focuses his attention on the popular South Minneapolis café location and his new company that he created for people like himself, those who love the journey of travel as opposed to a tourist experience. “I’ve designed tours that travelers would like,” says Sheehy. “And, I make a point of limiting my groups to twelve people or less, which makes a great dinner party. I started bringing small tours to Istanbul in 2012 and to date, six groups have joined me on a trip to Turkey.” He adds, “It’s a privilege to share my experiences with others and spend a week on a tour in a relaxed manner, as I believe these destinations are meant to be explored.” A traveler on Kevin’s tours can expect to have their own experience as well as a pleasant small group experience. Travelers have the opportunity to indulge in the city of their choice, not worry about any of the details and be rest assured that those details will be top notch. Tours for Travelers ensures clean and safe accommodations, tasty meals, knowledgeable guides with all of the details scrupulously attended to for a smooth, quality trip. In every city there are secret little gems, and Kevin shares those too. Of course, traveling with a restaurant owner ensures travelers will experience a variety of exciting restaurants and local food. Besides the Middle East, Tours for Travlers has just added Buenos Airies as a new destination for 2015.
