Feb. 27, 2014 - PRLog -- Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., demonstrated its leadership in the Middle East and North African (MENA) market by showcasing a range of category-defining products in TVs, home appliances, printing and mobile devices at its MENAForum in Malaga, Spain.

Through its broad product range, Samsung showed how it is bringing consumers seamless navigation, intuitive control and smart solutions. Among Samsung’s key products shown at its MENA Forum are:

l  The 78-inch U9000 Samsung Curved UHD TV, which is the most curved TV in the world with a 4,200 radii for the perfect viewing experience.

l  Samsung also announced partnerships with global media and content companiessuch as FOX and Paramount that provide customers with a “UHD video pack” service that contains UHD content by HDD.

l  The new WW9000 washer delivers pure elegant design and performance that lets users take care of household chores with more ease and speed. The Top Mounted Freezer RT6000,with improved functionality and upgraded interior design, enables consumers to save energy and better organize and preserve ingredients.

l  For easy, on-the-go printing that combines NFC and Wi-Fi Direct technologies, Samsung unveiled its new mono laser printers and multi-function printers, the Xpress M2880 Series, as well as its series of color laser printers and multi-function printers, the Xpress C1860 Series.

l  The UD590 is Samsung’s 2014 Ultra High Definition (UHD) monitor that delivers detailed, high-pixel imaging and stunningly realistic colors.The UD590 delivers unrivaled detail color quality as it is capable of displaying one billion colors, which is 64 times more colors than the standard monitor. It also includes UHD up-scaling technology that converts low resolution content to UHD-level picture quality and creates sharper images.

l  The Samsung’s 12.2-inch Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO tablets present mobile users with an industry-leading WQ-XGA display, offering crystal clear resolution with more than 4 million pixels, for a best-in-class tablet experience for both content consumption and powerful productivity. The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO line is completed by the Galaxy TabPRO 10.1-inch and 8.4-inch as well. All Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO tablets are running the most recent version of Android 4.4.

l  The NX30 interchangeable-lens camera has an advanced 20.3 MP APS-C CMOS Sensor, Tiltable Electronic Viewfinder (EVF) and exceptionally fast 1/8000 sec Shutter Speed and 9 FPS continuous shooting capability, to create high quality images with faster than ever performance. The NX30 features NFC and Wi-Fi capabilities, including the ‘Tag & Go’ function, that lets users tap to share memories instantly and easily when paired with NFC enabled mobile devices. Furthermore, the Galaxy Camera 2 captures images quickly and beautifully with revolutionary technology for instant sharing capabilities, thanks to its 16.3 effective megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, 21x optical zoom lens, 1.6GHz Quad Core processor and the Android platform.

Smart WLAN for a Seamless Mobile Experience

Samsung also showcased its "Smart WLAN" solution that is optimized for smart devices like smartphones and tablets.The solution lets users enjoy seamless service during voice calls and video play, and a greater throughput when moving between access points. Additionally, Samsung’s Traffic Schedule technology ensures the most optimized Wi-Fi service by allocating equal airtime to multiple devices.

In 2013, Samsung applied this solution to its established R&D center in South Korea, and proved outstanding performance for the network and security.

Samsung aims to accelerate its global wireless enterprise business through the Smart WLAN solution and plans to launch the solution in several markets, starting from this year.
