Drivers need a Subaru Protection Plan that is right for their specific needs, there is no one-size-fits-
The Primary Subaru Protection Care plan includes the major and more costly repairs that might be needed down the road, like engine, transmission, drive axle, seals and gaskets.
The Secure Subaru Protection Care plan includes the same coverage as the Primary, but also includes frequently replaced items like suspension, steering, brakes, electrical and air conditioning.
The Premier Subaru Protection Care plan includes coverage for the same components as the Primary and Secure, but includes the entire fuel system: injectors, fuel pressure regulator and sending unit, fuel rails, mass air flow sensor, oxygen sensor, MAP sensor, idle air control valve, idle speed motor, throttle position sensor, fuel tank and fuel lines.
The Elite Subaru Protection Care plan includes the exact same coverage as the first three coverage plans but adds the cooling system and high-tech accessories components, which is great for those Subaru owners who have manufacturer upgrades.
Then lastly the Ultra Subaru Protection Care plan is just that, you are completely covered with all of the previous components and are even covered for additional non-excluded items, so no matter what the mechanic says you need, a part replaced or overhaul you do not need to check if it is covered, you are!
The Subaru Extended Care Warranty website http://www.subaruwarranty.com also explains the added benefits of purchasing a Coverage Plan. All coverage plans comes with rental car reimbursement meaning if your Subaru is kept overnight for service, the rental car coverage is provided for up to forty dollars a day, up to six days. Also, Subaru Protection Care Plan owners can be reimbursed up to one hundred dollars if a breakdown is covered by their initial manufacturers warranty, if a deductible applies. Whenever a covered breakdown does occur, your Subaru Protection Care Plan will reimburse you up to seventy-five dollars per occurrence for towing expenses. As an added bonus if you tow the vehicle to the selling dealer the reimbursement can get up to one hundred dollars per occurrence and an additional twenty-five dollars if it was towed over fifty miles from the selling dealer (in Florida reimbursement is only subject to a maximum of one hundred dollars per occurrence). Emergency roadside service benefits are available for: towing, fluid delivery, vehicle extrication assistance, battery start service, spare tire mounting assistance and lock-out service with up to one hundred dollars per occurrence. Reach roadside assistance twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week at (866) 300-8579. If an unfortunate covered breakdown occurs while you are 100 miles or more away from your residence you will be reimbursed up to five hundred dollars for commercial lodging, meals, and rental vehicle (lodging and meals are limited to one hundred dollar reimbursement per day).
