Sign up now!FLATE is encouraging educators across Florida to sign up for the five-day National Institute for Metalworking Skills Credentialing workshop for metalworking instructors. The workshop will be held April 21-25, 2014 at the ATC at Daytona State College.
Overview of Workshop Activities include hands-on lab time, as well as classroom/workgroup time. Participants will gain an understanding of NIMS, and learn about curriculum alignment requirements needed to meet the national standards and certificates. They will also receive a working knowledge of NIMS processes for individual credentialing and program accreditation and earn NIMS credentials. What you will Learn Attendees will be given the opportunity to earn all NIMS Machining Level I credentials.
