The Countdown is on to Nominate a Deserving Mompreneur for the 2014 Mompreneur® Award of Excellence

OAKVILLE, Ontario - Feb. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- There’s still plenty of time to nominate your favorite female business owner and entrepreneur for the 2014 Mompreneur® Award of Excellence.  Nominations will be accepted until 11:59pm on Sunday March 2^nd. The 12 finalists will be selected via two methods - 10 finalists will be chosen by the voting public and will be awarded their spot based on the highest number of votes.  This year in addition to the Top 10 most voted for entries, there will be two wildcard finalists, chosen exclusively by the judging panel, to enter the final round of judging.  This year’s addition of two wildcard entries will recognize the hard work of business women who may not have a large network or platform yet to support their entry and/or were late entering the competition.

The Mompreneur® will be hosting their second annual National Conference during the day and will feature keynote speaker Arlene Dickinson along with a variety of notable speakers from various backgrounds and specialties including the Government, Education, Business, Health and Finance. Mompreneur® members from all across the country will come together to learn, support and celebrate their growth and success.  Capping off the conference will be the annual awards gala where members will celebrate the 12 finalists and the winner of the The 2014 Mompreneur® Award of Excellence will be announced.

The Mompreneur®, SavvyMom Media and Parents Canada magazine, along with conference presenting sponsor SAGE have partnered to recognize and reward the country’s top Mompreneur® with a prize package valued at over $35,000.

All Canadians are encouraged to nominate and vote for their favorite moms in business. Business Women with any kind of business, big or small, are encouraged to enter the running for the award. Voting closes on Sunday March 2^nd. The winner will be announced at the Annual Mompreneur® Conference & Awards Gala on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel & Conference Centre (http://sheratontorontoairport.com) , 801 Dixon Rd., Toronto ON.
