Follow on Google News | Emerald Lounge to host MODE:fest electronic music festivalBy: Stereospread Many of the artists playing MODE:fest have played at some of the largest music festivals in the country, including Burning Man. The Wolf (aka John Wolf), CollectiveONE, and B1G BEN hail from the Asheville Drum and Bass Collective. ADBC recently started its third year of free weeklies, and John Wolf's SOUNDfoundation throws intimate parties with world class multigenre sounds. IXNéE has been rocking dancefloors across the country since 2007 from Chicago to San Francisco. Disc-oh! has been pumping clubs and parties in the Southeast with his distinctly urban sound since '99. DJ Story has been producing and performing music for over a decade at some of electronic music's largest festivals and events. Jer Bear will be spinning some of the hottest and darkest underground sounds of Dubstep, Drum and Bass, Glitch-Hop, Trance, and Trap. Apogee will be contributing original material for an event that is sure to keep you dancing all day. And in addition to scorching sets from these world class acts, Stereospread will be remixing their popular synthpop tracks and presenting new dance tracks. MODE:fest will open from 12pm to 2am on April 27th. Admission is free and open to ages 21 and up.
