Hooping for Joy at Central Coast Community College
Hula Hooping burns off calories, tones and sculpts your body, obliterates belly fat and, best of all you don’t have to go to Hollywood to do a work out, it’s coming right here to Central Coast Community College.
It’s a great way to get fit whilst having a lot of fun at the same time. So, come and get those hips and arms swinging on Central Coast Community College's brand new Hula Hooping course.
College tutor Helen Moors is excited to be bringing her blend of hula hooping and dance to the Central Coast.
“Hula Hooping brings so much joy and increases fitness and health. It’s a completely new and different way of moving the body. Its funky, fun and looks great.
“The class is a mixture of hooping and dance moves, and by the end of the six week course, students will be combining moves into a choreographed dance routine to music” she said.
Helen is passionate about her sport and is very happy to be able to share this with her students.
“I would love to share this art form with other adults so they too can experience how beneficial this form of dance and exercise can be for them.
“Skills can improve quickly and by the end of each class we will have had a great workout and leave feeling empowered and ready to take on the world!” Helen said.
Hula Hooping for Fun and Fitness will run for 6 sessions on Monday evenings from 12 May at the College’s Ourimbah Campus at a cost of $143 Inc GST.
