Red Door Furniture Co. Opens in Historic Frenchtown

ST. CHARLES, Mo. - Feb. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- St. Charles, MO - Handcrafted. Restyled. Found. Red Door Furniture Co., now located at 1105 N. Second Street in the Historic Frenchtown District, specializes in distinct and one-of-a-kind pieces home décor. Signature items include tables handcrafted from local, salvaged doors and given Red Door's trademark finish: a surprise coat of velvety red paint on the bottom. Each piece is lovingly transformed into a unique piece of furniture that adds character and a story to every room. The 1,000-square-foot shop carries a curated collection of stylish handcrafted, restyled and found home décor not found in big box stores. Red Door Furniture Co. is also a proud certified retailer of Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint.

"We are excited to join a diverse selection of shops in Frenchtown," says Jeff Goodhart, co-owner of Red Door Furniture Co. "There's been a revitalization in this area in the last 12 months. Frenchtown is becoming a destination area for shoppers who are looking for a truly unique gift or home décor."

Red Door Furniture Co. was founded in 2012, selling online and in St. Louis area markets and festivals. The Frenchtown location offers a better customer experience, larger selection, the opportunity for shoppers to select a door for custom orders, and participate in monthly milk paint workshops.
