Al Sussman to lead off University of Pennyslvania Beatles Symposium
Al Sussman, author of the newly released ‘Changin’ Times: 101 Days That Shaped A Generation’ to speak at UPenn Beatles symposium on March 1st.
Al is the author of the recently released book, Changin’ Times: 101 Days That Shaped A Generation. The book discusses the events in American history from the Kennedy assassination on November 22, 1963 through the Beatles first tour of the U.S. and beyond, ending on March 1, 1964.
The symposium will run from Thursday, Febraury 27 – March 1, 2014 at the Kamin Gallery at the Van Pelt-Dietrich Library, 3420 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA. Other speakers include: Larry Kane, Walter Everett, Richard Langham, Anthony DeCurtis, Jude Southerland Kessler, Gordon Thompson, Donna Parsons and Eugene Halus.
