Learning to fly, however, does not always go as planned for the fly boys!

About the Author: Born in the Cotswolds near Stratford-on-Avon, England, David Gubbins now lives in Luzern, Switzerland. He based the book on a story he used to tell when he was a Royal Air Force recruit in the 1980s. He has spent 30 years working with aircraft and is currently a technical writer for modern training aircraft in Switzerland.
