Brooklyn Baby and Family Expo Shares Everything Parents Need in One Place

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Feb. 21, 2014 - PRLog -- A Child Grows in Brooklyn announces the return of Brooklyn's most popular baby show, the 2014 Brooklyn Baby and Family Expo.  The one day event will be held Sunday, April 6th, from 11:00 a.m – 3:00 p.m., at PS 133 William A. Butler, in Park Slope, Brooklyn (610 Baltic Street) and features keynote speaker Bunmi Laditan, creator of Twitter sensation Honest Toddler (@HonestToddler).

The fun family event gives moms and dads access to products, advice and community resources for parenting from birth through early childhood.  Attendees will enjoy musical performances by Vered Music, Little Rock-its by Frolic! and City Stomp.  Children of all ages are invited to join their parents to play, eat and visit exhibitors.  A diaper changing area is sponsored by Ubbi and Earth’s Best and a play area for babies and toddlers is sponsored by B Toys.  Free childcare will be provided by Brooklyn Manny and Nanny.

The Expo includes exhibitors from popular national and international baby brands as well as local parenting businesses, seminars and interactive demonstrations.  Bunmi Laditan, author of The Honest Toddler: A Child’s Guide to Parenting will deliver the keynote address at 11:00 a.m. and act as the event’s master of ceremonies.

Net proceeds from the event will be donated to the Expo's charity partner, Little Essentials.

Parenting Seminars
Jamie Grayson, a.k.a. TheBabyGuyNYC, featured on Martha Stewart's Baby Shower, The Today Show and named Best Baby Gear Guru by New York Magazine, presents "Best Baby Gear for 0 – 3.”  Other seminars include "Wills, Trusts & 529 Plans: A Simple Guide for Family Financial Planning" and "First Fevers, Healthy Sleep Habits, and Breastfeeding," a Q&A session with Mt. Sinai Pediatricians.  Event seminars are sponsored by New York Life, Sacha Herzig-Roizin & Volkova Law Group PLLC and Mt. Sinai Brooklyn Heights.
