March Events & Deals In the Lakes Region of New Hampshire

Here are a few of the highly anticipated events going on in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire this March:

-          Los Lobos at The Flying Monkey in Plymouth on Friday, March 7^th at 7:30 and 9:30pm. Watch the multiple Grammy Award winning American Chicano rock band perform their hit “La Bamba” and their other widely known songs.

-          The Winni Dip at The Margate at the Lakefront in Laconia on Saturday, March 8^th at 10am. This fundraising event benefits the Special Olympics of New Hampshire by participants taking a dip in the ice-cold Lake Winnipesaukee.

-          Wild Winter Walks at Squam Lakes Natural Science Center in Holderness, NH. Saturday March 1^st , 8^th  & 15^th at 10am and Sunday March 2^nd & 9^th at 1pm. A series of guided tours of the live animal trail at the science center. Be ready to snowshoe and see beautiful wild animals in their winter fur coats. Snowshoes are available at no extra cost or bring your own.

-          Tribute to Ella Fitzgerald at the Capitol Center for the Arts. For over sixty years, Ella set the standard for vocalists of all genres and has been influential to many great performers; watch this wonderful tribute on March 9^th at 4pm.

-          Cabin Fever Education Series at The Wright Museum of WWII History will be on March 2^nd, 9^th, 16^th & 23^rd at 2-3pm. This lecture series covers a variety of topics that surround the WWII, reservations recommended.

-          Maple Sugar Madness at Prescott Farm in Laconia. Sunday, March 1 join the Prescott Farm and experience the old-fashioned New England tradition of making maple syrup. The program includes a 1.5 hour tour and 20 minute uphill walk to the Sugar House, snowshoes and reservations recommended.
