         Independent Fashion Firms and Melrose Ballroom merge for a one of a kind event, “Fashion in The Fast Lane – Runway Series”, a Fashion and Networking Gala.

Just Off 7^th Ave! and LaBelleLaDiva Enterprise, both notable New York Fashion PR firms, have joined forces with Melrose Ballroom, the newest performance Venue, in Astoria NY to showcase the talent of Independent Designers, with a runway show, and After party.

Just Off 7^th Ave! founder Athena Mennis has joined forces with LaBelleLaDiva Enterprise founder Yvonne Forbes to redefine the world of Fashion, with “Fashion in the Fast Lane – Runway Series”. A series of runway shows throughout 2014—Exclusively at New York’s hottest new performance venue, Melrose Ballroom.

         On February 28^th, 2014 at Melrose Ballroom, Astoria NY 36-08 33^rd Street—The two companies will collaborate to present “Fashion in the Fast Lane- Runway Series”.The 8:00 pm event will showcase a Fashion Show with an amazing line up; New York Times featured designer Lisa Astor showing her line for “Obradorio Studio”; Independent Designer Marco Hall featuring his most recent Ready to Wear and Couture collections; Nationally Accredited plus size design house Juul Couture—Juul Jones, Dean John with his new collection from Dean John Fashion. Henry Bendel featured designer Sonjja Barram will showcase her new swimwear collection and accessories, and Erika Kearse with Mor’ Dan will feature her exclusive Plus Size Fashion.

         In addition to the extravagant fashion show, a series of nationally accredited accessories designers will be featuring their products for sale, throughout the night. The lineup includes: Alisha Pean with Vanity Couture; Antoinette Karma with House of Antoinette 1950; Karen Grace with Karen Grace Designs, Well Hung Hangers; among the featured will also be Tracy Lynn Jewelry and Silver Continent Jewelry.

         The event is sponsored by “Fashion in The Fast Lane” (www.fashioninthefastlane.com); a new TV series developed and hosted by celebrity stylist Delvon Johnson, currently in the process of filming his first season. The fashion show will be commentated by Just Off 7^th Ave! founder Athena Mennis, and guests will enjoy music by internationally known  DJ ANGELA PANDELIS. Additional event sponsors include Moroccan Oils,  Dyva D’lights and Trust In Us Catering. Tickets are $10 , purchased via eventbrite, at melroseballroom.eventbrite.com.
