Corecon Technologies Announces Android App for Corecon’s Cloud-Based Project Management Software

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - Feb. 20, 2014 - PRLog -- Corecon Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of web-based construction software, announces the release of Corecon Mobile for Android.  The new app was developed for use with Corecon V7, an online estimating, project management and job cost suite of construction software.

Serving as the next generation of Corecon’s mobile solution, the new Android app not only includes all of the tools available in the current version which is browser based, but now has greater functionality and an improved user interface that takes full advantage of an Android smartphone or tablet’s capabilities. This new version was completely rebuilt on the Android platform and tailored for jobsite functions. For example, field staff can take progress photos or sync Corecon contacts directly from their mobile device. Android’s Speech to Text can also be used with the new app to transcribe voice dictation into text whenever it may be inconvenient to text.

Since all of Corecon’s products connect to a common platform, no synchronization is required. Thus, Daily Logs or Timecards entered directly in the Android App will immediately appear in Corecon V7, Corecon’s flagship web-based solution for estimating, project management and job cost control.

The features of the Corecon Mobile for Android app include: Companies; Contacts (import from phone, share contacts via SMS); Projects; Project Photos (view, take and upload new photos); Project Directory with the ability to view companies with expired insurance; Checklist; Punchlist (ability to take and upload new photos); Daily Logs - (ability to add weather on the fly, receive materials based on POs etc.); Time Entry; Purchase Orders; Bills; Misc. Expenses; To Do List; Alerts (on any features in Corecon); and Inbound Email.
