Norman Rockwell’s Four Freedoms and the World War II Era with Thomas Daly
In this presentation, Tom Daly, the Curator of Education for the Norman Rockwell Museum, will offer unique insights into the history of Rockwell's images created during the 1940's at the Oliver Wolcott Library on Wednesday, March 5, 7:00- 8:00 pm.
Thomas Daly is the Curator of Education for the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA - the same town where Norman Rockwell lived for the last twenty-five years of his life. His programs have served tens of thousands of visitors. He has traveled to many parts of the country to lecture about Rockwell’s work. Daly personally crafts each of the presentations to fit the needs of the group being addressed. During his sixteen plus years with the Norman Rockwell Museum he has taken on a number of different roles, all of them adding to his knowledge of the work of America’s favorite illustrator. He has also written many articles about Norman Rockwell and his nearly 70 year career as an illustrator.
