Bodyguards are coming to town!

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Feb. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Ever wonder who those guys in suits with cords hanging out of their ears wandering through the streets are? The Center for Protection, Security and Personal Safety, will be conducting its 7 Day Executive Protection (Bodyguard) training program in Ft Wayne from March 23-29^th, 2014. The program is designed to provide those wishing to enter the field of Executive Protection with the necessary basic skills to work as part of a team providing protection for High Net Worth individuals, dignitaries, celebrities and religious leaders.

Over the 7 days the students will learn how to conduct advance security surveys, route planning, Threat and Risk Assessments, while providing security escorts using different foot and vehicle formations. The final day of the training program will culminate with members of the class planning the security for a visiting celebrity/dignitary and then working as members of the client’s protective detail.

Class size will be limited and held at a local hotel where students will both stay over the seven days as well as train. Cost of this 7 day training program is $1499.00 and includes the cost of hotel accommodations and breakfast each of the training days. Edward Becher, the owner and Director of Training for the Center for Protection, Security and Personal Safety is a retired US Marine Corps Master Sergeant and former Chief Instructor for the Uniformed Protective Officers assigned to the US Department of State, Diplomatic Security Service.
