Clary Sage College Graduates First Hair Braiding Technology Student

TULSA, Okla. - Feb. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- Tulsa, Okla., (February 18, 2014) – Latasha Hammond, graduate of the Clary Sage College (CSC) Hair Braiding Technology Program, will be the first person to gain a hairbraiding technician license in the state of Oklahoma.

“I’m always up for a change. If there is something new – I want to go learn about it,” said Hammond. “Change is good. You don’t want to tie yourself down to be limited to one thing. Keep going as much as you can, there is no limit to stop with education.”

Latasha will not only be the first to gain a hair braiding technician license in the state of Oklahoma, but is the first graduate of the program at CSC. It is illegal in the state to charge for hairbraiding services without the proper licensing.

“Latasha came to Clary to make a change in her life by doing what she loves,” said Pam Martin Cosmetology Department Head. “She not only changed her life with a new career in Hair Braiding Technology but with her passion and dedication she became a role model and mentor for others.”

CSC’s Hair Braiding Technology program is a five month comprehensive course covering advanced hair styling techniques, salon management, professionalism and more.
