PictureU Releases New Greenscreen Cinemagraph Technology

ATLANTA - Feb. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- PictureU is now offering new cinemagraph technology that uses their proprietary greenscreen platform to create a memorable moving image for brands and their marketers at live events.  This is the latest in as series of new experiential technologies released by the Atlanta firm that are designed to give consumers images optimized for sharing on social networks.  Clients will love the experience of using a green screen that merges consumers into a cinemagraph background and turns it into a sharable image.  The cinemagraphs can be branded for the client creating an opportunity for significant social amplification.

Cinemagraphs are images that contain subtle movement within a photo.  The combination of video within a photo creates a unique image.  These sharable GIFs are created through proprietary software that captures images and turns them into an endless loop. Consumers can easily post their images to social media as well as share through email and text.

“I was thrilled to see Netflix promote their groundbreaking series ‘House Of Cards’ using cinemagraphs,” said Walt Geer, PictureU CEO. “Their cinemagraphs are all over the news this week drawing comments such as ‘haunting’, ‘mesmerizing’, ‘fascinating’, and ‘memorable’.”  Geer went on to say, “We couldn’t be more excited to offer this kind of technology to Brands for their experiential marketing campaigns.”

PictureU was first-to-market with this new and exciting technology for experiential marketers. Always ahead of the curve in technology development, PictureU is excited to bring the realism of film to brands and consumers alike.
