The chic, downtown Austin hair salon continues making a mark on the Austin beauty scene!

February 14, 2014 - Austin, Texas – Wild Orchid Salon is excited to announce a new salon and spa serving the Bee Cave and Lakeway communities.

The new Wild Orchid Salon + Spa, located at the corner of Ranch Road 620 and Falcon Head Boulevard, will be its second location. The new salon and spa will open with 6 styling stations, makeup bar, private treatment room and a stylish and comfortable reception area. It is sure to become a popular hair and skin care destination for West Austin communities.

“When we took over the original Wild Orchid Salon, we were a small salon with 3 styling stations.” says Danielle Benson, Owner and Master Stylist of Wild Orchid. “Since then we have grown our first location to 5 stylists, opening up a new location in the Bee Cave-Lakeway area and expanding into skin care and lash services through the fantastic support of Wild Orchid clients and stylists. We decided to take what we have learned over the years and open a new salon and spa that we know our clients will love.”

Wild Orchid is a family affair for Danielle. Her business partner and husband, Jared, assists with Wild Orchid branding and marketing as well as business and financial planning.  Danielle’s sister, Meghan, will be the Salon Coordinator for the new location and move onto the salon floor as a stylist in the near future. While Danielle’s almost 3-year old daughter is too young to work for the company, she has already shown a passion for styling hair.

The Wild Orchid team began the process of selecting the new location with research of Austin’s growth and careful consideration into the needs of the clients and staff of both the spa and salon to create chic yet comfortable atmosphere which can be easily replicated in future locations. We have also worked to efficiently accommodate the needs of the staff and therapists behind the scenes to further enhance the Wild Orchid experience.  Wild Orchid’s team of experienced, Master Stylists will develop and train the new stylists at the Bee Cave/Lakeway location.

The new location will provide a beautiful experience in the front of the house and back. Countless hours have been spent researching a new hair care product line and a skin care line ensuring that our clients will have a better experience during treatment. The focus of the spa treatments will be skin correction and wellness along with lash extension and hair removal service offerings.  We will be implementing new marketing and branding initiatives to increase new clientele for both hair and skin care service to make our stylist and esthetic team successful.

We can’t wait to share the new location with our current and future clients. We’ll keep you posted in the months to come with all of the exciting updates.
