Golf Ventures Announces Equipment Territory Manager For SouthWest Florida

LAKELAND, Fla. - Feb. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Golf Ventures is pleased to announce the addition of Art McCoy as Territory Manager for Charlotte, Desoto, Glades, Lee and Southern Sarasota Counties. "We are excited to have Art join our winning team of professionals at Golf Ventures. His previous equipment experience, superintendent experience and relationships in the area make him a great addition to our team" says Walt McMahon, Executive Vice President.

Art will be selling a large variety of industry leading turf equipment in the southwest Florida territory, including Jacobsen, Smithco, Ryan, Turfco, and Foley Grinders.

Art brings 18 years experience in the golf and turf industry as a golf course superintendent, with a diverse background in equipment selection and management, golf course construction and renovation, irrigation, and pesticides. Art attended Florida Institute of Technology in Jensen Beach, FL and has worked with golf course projects worldwide. His last project was with Nicklaus Design in Slovakia.

Art and his wife Miluse, native of the Czech Republic, reside in Punta Gorda, Florida.
