-- Jerry Werner, (known by his ring name "Johnny Malloy) is a professional wrestling promoter, wrestler and wrestling trainer out of Long Island, NY. At 26 years old, this L.I. native has tried his hand at stand up comedy, acting, radio, but has found his niche in the wresting world. Training wrestlers for the last 8 years, Jerry got his start in the business in 2005. A 4 year hiatus from the wrestling world would see him return in 2010. Approached by an independent wrestling company to come in as a "booker", Jerry accepted the job. Stepping back into the wrestling world. Shortly after the itch to wrestle would prove to much and Jerry would return to in ring competition as part of the tag team "Beer'd Life". Over the next 4 years this team would work up and down the east coast, appearing for companies in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Rhode Island, Delaware, Florida to name a few. Winners of "Fan Favorite" awards, "Tag Team Of The Year" in NY and Maryland, Tag Championships in Florida, and growing a considerable fan base throughout the Long Island Area, Beer'd Life became known as "the tag team to have." Meanwhile, Jerry was owning/operating/
and booking his in own independent wrestling promotion known as the "SUFFOLK WRESTLING ALLIANCE". Debuting as a preshow for another local promotion, SWA quickly generated buzz and fan support, leading to a push for SWA to split off and to run it's own events. September 2012, SWA ran it's first ever solo event. Packing the NYWC Sportatorium (local famous wrestling venue) to capacity and catching the attention of wrestling fans around the area. SWA would kick off with a bang and become a source for "alternative"
wrestling in the area. Known as the "Long Island Ice Tea Of Pro Wrestling", Jerry and his S.W.A. team would bring a new brand, a new flavor to the business of professional wrestling. As this new year kicks off, Jerry is up for a change of pace. Splitting with his tag partner and running as a singles wrestler for the first time in his career. Recently winning the PRIDE CHAMPIONSHIP, Jerry Werner for the first time sits with the spotlight on him alone, with the companies well being riding on his shoulders behind the scenes and in front of the camera. A new year and new possibilities will make this year interesting to say the least.
