2014 Maserati Ghibli Lease Deals

Maserati  CEO Harald Wester sees the Ghibli as a major player that will hopefully bring in thousands to the Maserati brand over the next few years. Maserati is the Fiat subsidiary of Modena which has mostly made top-notch luxury sports cars and sporty luxury sedans over the years. The Italians now venture into the class of rational embossed company limousines.

With Maserati it's not just about driving pleasure, but also to class and refinement. What still stands out is that the Ghibli was created with gas mileage whereas a car like the Quattroporte with respect to its clients in the U.S. and China, is all about the power. The Ghibli was much leaner and much smaller.  The Ghibli is 29 inches shorter than the Quattroporte and has a smaller 17 inch wheelbase.

A leather interior is standard, but there are also gaps in the equipment list. Because apart from a mobile Wi-Fi hot-spot of the Ghibli has little to offer infotainment technology. Meaningful frequent driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control or lane assistance are not offered.

While this is a completely new out of the box of the Quattroporte derived car and drives in a new segment for Maserati. But the name has a great tradition at Maserati. A Ghibli already existed from 1966 to 1973 and from 1992 to 1997 - both were sleek coupes.

The engine gives off a sound similar to that of American V-8 classic cars. Somehow this fits the melody and personality of the car. If you want something boring and quiet, just drive a Lexus.
