No Tie Dinner & Dessert Party Announces Cher Ticket Give-Away
The highly anticipated Cher concert will also feature special guests Pat Benatar, ranked by Billboard Magazine as one of the most successful female rock vocalists of all time, and Neil Giraldo. The Dressed To Kill concert will be held at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on March 26. It will be just the third stop of the tour as Cher promotes her new album, “Closer to the Truth.”
2,000 guests and 200 volunteers are expected to attend the ninth annual No Tie Dinner & Dessert Party on Saturday, April 12. The evening will begin with a series of dinner parties hosted by some of the city’s most vibrant socialites, including Honorary Chair LeeAnne Locken and Co-Chairs David Nelson and Dennis Kershner. Then, starting at 7:00 p.m., all guests and hosts will be invited to The Frontiers of Flight Museum (6911 Lemmon Avenue) for a chance to taste “La Dolce Vita” (or “The Sweet Life”), the evening’s theme. Dessert sponsors from all over the city will provide a delectable array of tasty treats, followed by dancing, drinks, and a massive silent and live auction, including rentals of a Lamborghini or Ferrari by Platinum Motorcars.
Tickets are a recommended $50 donation with all proceeds going to AIDS Services of Dallas which provides housing and supportive services for low-income and formerly homeless men, women, children and families living with HIV/AIDS.
