Helmer’s upcoming tour will be in support of his new CD, Wake Me When It’s Over ( Recorded at the Waterfront Studios of Grammy award-winning producer Henry Hirsch (whose credits include Lenny Kravitz, Madonna and Mick Jagger), this contagious, radio-friendly rock album was written and performed by Helmer and his photographer-musician brother, Rich Helmer. Its songs describe journeys of pain and loss, but ultimately point towards a pathway of hope.

“In 2008 I made a huge mistake and lost everything. Without the help of my family and a few close friends, I would have been living on the streets,” he explains of his reasons behind the campaign. “So from my own experience, I know just how important a support system can be to help out with even the most basic of human needs; food, shelter and most importantly, hope.”
