— On February 7, 2014, The Fontana Rehabilitation Workshop, Inc. (FRW) dba Industrial Support Systems (ISS) celebrated its 50th Anniversary In 1964 The Fontana Rehabilitation Workshop, Inc. (FRW) was founded to meet the needs of adults with developmental disabilities.  The Workshop was primarily established to provide continued program and activities for the growing number of individuals with disabilities graduating from Slover Special School and special education classes through the Fontana Unified School District.

The Parent Teachers Association (PTA) for Slover Special School, Virginia Primrose, Principal and Nathan Simon, local Fontana Businessman, lead the way in the development of the workshop. The startacular celebration was held at The Sierra Lakes Golf Club. The event was attended by ISS Consumers, employment partners, community partners, and host of local and state legislators.  Maria Caceres representing Senator Norma Torres,State Senate District 32; Dianna Lee representing Janice Rutherford, Second District SupervisorCounty of San Bernardino, and representing the City of Fontana: Mayor Acquanetta Warren, Mayor Pro Tem John Roberts, Council Member Michael Tahan, Council Member Lydia Wibert, Council Member Jesus Sandoval, City Clerk Tonia Lewis, City Treasurer Janet Koehler-Brooks, and Planning Commissioner Jesse Armendarez City Planning Commission.

The evening celebration was kicked off by Master of Ceremonies, Nick Cruz a public speaker and Inland Empire community supporter, along with ISS Executive Director Sylvia E. Anderson. The hi-lights of the evening were Fontana, Mayor Acquanetta Warrenpresenting ISS President Jim Coulson a Key to the City for their partnership and commitment to the community and the resources they provide to adults with disabilities. Dianna Lee presents County of San Bernardino Resolution for its commitment to being a leader in the Inland Empire in providing  high quality products and services in support of employment opportunities for people with disabilities and its works with various companies such as DLA Troop Support, The United States Department of Defense, as well as solar energy companies in several states, and Resolution  California Legislature  presented by  Maria Caceres representative of the honorable  Norma J. Torres, 32nd Senator District and honorable Freddie Rodriguez, 52nd Assembly District.
