Community Singers Wanted for March 23 Concert

WAUKESHA, Wis. - Feb. 10, 2014 - PRLog -- Waukesha Choral Union is looking for community singers to join the group as it gets ready to present “Creation: Let There Be Light” at 3 p.m. March 23 at Carroll University’s Shattuck Auditorium.

   Those interested in performing need only make a short-term commitment of three rehearsals within two weeks prior to the performance.

About Waukesha Choral Union

    Active in wfavv the community for more than 60 years, the Waukesha Choral Union’s roots date back to 1949. A combined group composed of the Carroll College Chorus and community members of the Waukesha Choral Society became the Town and Gown in 1961. The group became the Waukesha Choral Union in 1974.

  Waukesha Choral Union also will present "Sunrise" AT 7 p.m. May 3 at St. Williams Church in Waukesha. The event is the official celebration of the group's 40th year. A reception will follow the concert.
