SoHo Taco Appoints Celebrated Culinarian Javier Zambrano As Executive Chef
Orange County based gourmet taco cart catering, food truck and future restaurant conglomerate announces new executive chef, Javier Zambrano, former chef de cuisine of several popular Southern California eateries.

As Chef de Cuisine for the Orange County based conglomerate, Zambrano will provide his expertise and oversee both creative and operational activities for each company, which currently encompasses on site taco cart catering, gourmet food truck events and bricks-and-mortar restaurant endeavors.
Zambrano’s prestigious expertise in the culinary arts spans several decades. Most recently he left a prominent position as Executive Chef for the critically-acclaimed Luna Mexican Grill in Corona CA. Prior to that Zambrano helmed noted eateries such as Taco Rosa, Taco Mesa and served almost a decade at the highly-regarded Las Brisas of Laguna Beach, California.
Zambrano’s nephew, Gabriel Zambrano and SoHo Taco’s outgoing Executive Chef, will stay on board with the company as an advisor and will take over operations. “I am absolutely thrilled and honored to have my uncle on board,” Gabriel Zambrano is quoted as saying. “He truly is a leader in the culinary arts not only in the industry but within our family as well.”
SoHo Taco has garnered overwhelming praise for its menu, the vast majority of which were created by Chef Javier Zambrano. Most notably its wildly popular vegetarian and shrimp tacos are the product of his knowledge and culinary acumen.
Presently, the company’s next project is to develop a menu for the company’s burgeoning fast casual restaurants and to assure the same quality and service that is being enjoyed by all customers.
Moreover, a full service catering company is also in the works which will provide not only a much more expansive menu using high quality ingredients but also outstanding staffing service for larger weddings, corporate events and more.
SoHo Taco was founded in 2009 as a gourmet taco cart catering company. In 2011 it launched its popular gourmet food truck business specializing in high quality tacos. In 2014 the company seeks to launch its first eatery and to expand its cuisine in other parts of Southern California and beyond..
