“It’s a Cat's World” – International Cat Show ALLCATS Cat Club

MIAMI - Feb. 10, 2014 - PRLog -- What: ALLCATS Cat Club, a new Florida based TICA club, is incredibly honored to be hosting the World Cat Congress in Miami.Every year, the leaders of the largest cat registries in the world get together to discuss common concerns, and work together for the betterment of the fancy as a whole. It has only been held in the US three times before, twice hosted by TICA.  So for many exhibitors, this will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of a truly world-wide event! The show is open to the public on both Saturday and Sunday, March 8^th and 9^th, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with up to 500 cats in competition, representing more than 50 breeds, as well as Household Pets.  Cats will be judged continuously throughout the weekend by fourteen judges from around the US and the globe – as far as Australia and South Africa!  Vendors will have unique cat-related supplies, grooming and gift items.  Three local rescues, A B & C, will have cats available for adoption.  There will be an event stage presenting a kitty fashion show each day and other fun events throughout the day.  There will also be an agility competition, where cats vie for ‘fastest run’ through a challenging obstacle course.  (Advance registration is required for all events – no cats which have not been pre-registered may be admitted.)

Cost: Admission to the show is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, military & kids 6-12 (kids under 6 admitted free).  There is also a family admission of $40 for up to 2 adults and 5 kids, which is reduced to $35 with military ID.  Receive $1 off with a donation of a large can or unopened bag of cat food for our rescues.
