BELOIT, Wis. - Feb. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Paint on Rust is a water-based Rust Converter and Primer applied directly to rust.  No Scraping or Sandblasting required.  Paint on Rust can be applied in WET conditions!

Pain on Rust is a water-based product which can be applied to a damp surface. It does not trap moisture.  Paint on Rust is a red-brown, heavy viscous liquid with no distinct odor.

Paint on Rust contains < 1% VOCs. It does not contain lead or heavy metals.  Paint on Rust is resistant to high temperatures. It expands and contracts with the metal.  In lab tests, Paint on Rust withstood 300 deg F (145 deg C), for 90 days without peeling or cracking.

Paint on Rust does not contain oily solvents or resins, and can be diluted with water.

Paint on Rust accepts a wide range of top coatings - oil based paint, water-based emulsions, enamels, urethanes, etc.  Pain on Rust covers 530 – 1,000 sq/ft per gallon, or 10 - 28 m2 per liter depending on the condition of the surface to be covered.

Paint on Rust is ready-to-use from the container when being used with a brush.

When spraying, dilute up to 20%, with water.

We recommend the use of gloves, a facemask and safety glasses when using Paint on Rust.

Paint on Rust is non-flammable.

Paint on Rust contains phosphoric acid (CAS No: 766-38-2)
