HIGHLAND, Ind. - Feb. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Honda already offers a full lineup of fuel efficient vehicles and now that group of automobiles will become even more diverse with Honda adding the 2014 Civic Hybrid and Civic Natural Gas models to the lineup. February 5th marks the release of the new Civic Hybrid, with the Civic Natural Gas following in 37 states starting February 15th. Both models will eventually make their way to Bosak Honda in Highland, joining the latest Honda models that the dealership has to offer.

The 2014 Honda Civic Hybrid offers improved EPA-estimated fuel efficiency ratings of 44 city/47 highway/45 combined mpg compared to the 2013 model’s 44 city/44 highway/44 combined mpg. Increases in fuel efficiency can be attributed to changes in aerodynamics, upgraded components, and engine tuning changes. One convenience feature that comes standard on the Civic Hybrid is the Smart Entry with Push Button Start that allows owners to get the engine started without turning a key. This model comes available in standard, Navi, Leather, and Leather Navi trims, all with a continuously variable transmission.

The 2014 Honda Civic Natural Gas will offer EPA-estimated fuel efficiency ratings of 27 city/38 highway/31 combined mpg. For the first time, the Civic Natural Gas will come available with leather-trimmed seating. Additional premium features include heated front seats, heated side mirrors, and a six-speaker sound system. The new Civic Natural Gas comes offered in standard and Leather Navi trim options and both come with a five-speed automatic transmission.

Both the Civic Hybrid and Civic Natural Gas models will come loaded with a wide array of new standard features, such as the new Display Audio which can be operated just like a smartphone, allowing users to access features such as media or phonebook. Also standard is the Expanded View Driver’s Mirror that helps to enhance what the driver can see around the car.

MSRP of the 2014 Civic Hybrid starts at $24,635 while the Civic Natural Gas has an MSRP starting at $26,640. Northwest Indiana Honda drivers interested in learning more about the new Honda Civic Hybrid or Civic Natural Gas models are encouraged to visit Bosak Honda Highland.
