Feb. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Aaronia has launched the ultra-broadband OmniLOG® 70600 small and compact omnidirectional antenna. Despite its small size it covers an extremely wide frequency range of 680 MHz to 6 GHz. Within the most important frequency bands the antenna reaches very high gain up to 6.5 dBi. It fits well with the SPECTRAN handheld spectrum analyzers but can also be used with any other spectrum analyzer brand.

The frequency range covers the following, typical signal sources: GSM, CDMA, LTE, WiFi, ISM, DECT, Bluetooth, 5GHz WLAN, WiMAX. The Antenna offers a heavy-duty 90° knuckle base with SMA connector. The knuckle base is freely adjustable into each position and fixed by two special ball pressure screws.

The OmniLOG antenna offers an omnidirectional measurement of field strength without the need to move the antenna to the source. This allows a direct field strength reading without any hassle, which is very useful for measurements of e.g. exposure limits.

The PC Analysis-Software – MCS – supports the OmniLOG 70600. Using this software, the OmniLOG antenna can also be used with the SPECTRAN V3-series Spectrum Analyzers. It is extremely small size allows measurements without attracting attention or even covert measurements. Every OmniLOG Antenna offers a high-grade SMA male connector and as such can be connected directly to each SPECTRAN Analyzer.

Focus of the enterprise is development, trade and sale of measuring equipment, technologies and rights of low and high frequency measurement technique, robotics as well as screening/shielding of RF and E-fields and fundamental research at the segment of communications and measurement engineering, furthermore the construction of own circuitries and measuring methods in particular for the development of extreme sensitive and precise high-frequency measurement devices and autonomic robotics-systems.
