Wingate Healthcare Expands Leadership Team with New Hires & Promotions

NEEDHAM, Mass. - Feb. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- Wingate Healthcare (www.wingatehealthcare.com), the Northeast’s premiere provider of healthcare and hospitality for seniors, today announced a host of new executive appointments and promotions to round out its industry-leading management team. Kathy Campbell, RN has returned to Wingate as Vice President of Clinical Services and Michael Lincoln has been hired as Regional Director of Operations. Additionally, two existing staff members have been elevated to the executive management team--Ed Blake to VP of Operations and Amy Sanders to VP of Sales & Marketing.

A Boston resident, Kathy returned to Wingate as Vice President of Clinical Services in January, 2014, having previously served as Senior Regional Nurse Manager for 11 years. She has more than 30 years of experience in acute, long-term care and senior living, and is known for her hands-on leadership style and dedication to quality. Prior to returning to Wingate, she was a Regional Clinical Director at Epoch Senior Living where she was responsible for their Skilled Care and Assisted Living communities in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She has held a number of management level positions at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Tufts University School of Medicine, including Director of Nursing for their high-volume emergency room.  Kathy is a graduate of the St. Elizabeth’s School of Nursing and is certified in emergency nursing, gerontology, resident assessments and legal nurse consulting.

Hailing from Foxborough, Lincoln brings over 30 years of skilled nursing, sub-acute, assisted living and hospital experience to the role. His many career accomplishments include securing eight deficiency-free surveys, seven JCAHO accreditations and was awarded the AHCA bronze award for quality of care. Most recently, he served as an Administrator for Merrimack Health where he oversaw three facilities.

Blake is a resident of Hopkinton and previously served as Regional Director of Operations for Wingate’s Western Massachusetts and New York region. He has over 30 years of operations experience in all facets of healthcare, including senior living, skilled nursing and at the state level. Prior to joining Wingate in 2012, he held operations positions at Genesis HealthCare, Benchmark Senior Living, Amicus Home Healthcare, Sunrise Senior Living and served as Chief Operations Officer for Frontier Management where he oversaw 16 skilled nursing facilities. In his free time, he serves as the Board Secretary for the Massachusetts Assisted Living Federation of America (Mass-ALFA).

Also from Hopkinton, Sanders originally joined Wingate as their Senior Director of Sales & Marketing. She brings 20 years of sales and marketing experience to the company, drawing on management level positions in acute and long-term care, senior living and healthcare. Sanders new role includes responsibility for the company’s overall branding and awareness, and the sales and marketing operations for all 21 communities, including advertising, public relations, online marketing and social media. Before joining the company, she served as Regional Marketing Director for Healthbridge Management, overseeing all eight of their New England communities, including over 1,300 skilled nursing beds and an independent living facility.
