Over the years, customers have validated Radarsign products by coming back for more. Thanks to great customer service and a high quality speed sign, over 30% of 2013 sales was repeat business.
“When we founded Radarsign, we wanted to make streets safer,” said Charlie Robeson, Radarsign co-founder and managing partner. “Over the past decade, we’ve received consistent feedback from customers across the country who confirm that Radarsign driver feedback signs have helped saved lives. That’s been the best news possible. So it’s been a very good first ten years.”
Radarsign was founded by three Atlanta friends—Ken Bass, a former Georgia State Trooper turned high-tech business manager; Barry Ward, a laser-optics, electrography and microprocessor engineer; and Charlie Robeson, a sales and marketing executive—who lived in communities where speeding drivers made streets unsafe at times. Seeking solutions for their neighborhoods, the trio determined that driver feedback signs offered the best solution but existing options were unreliable and exorbitantly priced. Radarsign was launched to change that.
In 2004, Atlanta-based Radarsign™ established new industry standards for traffic-calming solutions with the debut of the world’s first armored radar speed signs, which are vandal, weather and bullet-resistant. The industry’s most durable radar speed signs are also the most ecological and energy efficient. Engineered and manufactured in the USA, Radarsign products are MUTCD-compliant and utilize recycled aluminum, innovative LED reflector technology, minimal battery power and solar panels to deliver bright, easy-to-read feedback to drivers. Radarsign products are scientifically proven to reduce drivers’ speeds and have been entrusted to provide safe and effective traffic-calming solutions for: municipalities, treasured national parks, schools, neighborhoods, military bases, and private and public development projects across the U.S., Canada and overseas. www.Radarsign.com.
