SAN FRANCISCO - Feb. 5, 2014 - PRLog -- K9 Scrub Club announced today their new Reward A Rescue grant program, aimed at helping smaller animal-related rescues.

"We wanted to create a fun, social way for rescues to interact with their supporters and help raise awareness for K9 Scrub Club at the same time."  said one of the company's founders, Jason OHara.

The Reward A Rescue program provides a $500 grant every three months to a San Francisco Bay Area rescue.  Rescues register online at by completing a short questionairre and submitting a copy of their 501(c)3 letter.  Once registered, they receive a confirmation with a special page that their supporters can vote.  Rescues need at least 100 votes to be eligible and then K9 Scrub Club team members choose the rescue that will receive the $500.

Rescues must register by February 28, 2014 for the first quarter program and all votes must be received by March 31, 2014.  The final announcement will be made on April 15, 2014.

A rescue can register and participate as many times as they like, but can only receive a grant up to two times in a calendar year for a maximum or $1000.
