-- RINGGOLD, Ga. – Carol Gigante, a Beltsville resident, recently published a book titled The First Family.
The book takes an imaginative look at what it must have been like for Adam and Eve after they left the Garden of Eden.
The story of the first family unfolds within the first five chapters of Genesis, where we read the basic facts about the fall and the birth of their first children. Gigante has always had a fascination with this biblical family's story, and she wondered, When did Adam and Eve tell Cain and Abel about their mistake? What must it have been like seeing the angel guarding the entrance to Eden? How did they deal with parenting issues? Did Adam and Eve argue? To answer these questions, she wrote The First Family.
Gigante lives in Beltsville with her husband. A retired daycare provider, Gigante enjoys reading, writing, photography, bird watching, collecting dolls, and proofreading the Women’s Ministries devotional book for the Seventh-day Adventist Church each year. The First Family
