In addition to using MDF, Ronald devised a special lamination process that takes two “half thickness” doors and laminates them together. Ian and David Fisher also saw the great value of MDF doors and recruited Ronald and others to come to San Antonio TX to begin Supa Doors. As the earliest manufacturer devoted solely to MDF doors, Supa Doors quickly became a leading force in introducing MDF doors to the nation. The first markets that fully embraced MDF were the high humidity areas of the Southeast and particularly Florida, where MDF worked like a charm.

Fast forward 20 years, and Ian and Dave, after having built other companies, are back at the helm of Supa Doors.
