BrewDogs of Colorado, Copper Kettle Brewing join forces to raise money & awareness for Mountain Pet Rescue.

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Feb 3, 2014 – BrewDogs of Colorado & Copper Kettle Brewing is excited to announce their joint effort event in raising funds and awareness for Mountain Pet Rescue.  They’ll host this event at Copper Kettle Brewing located in Denver, Colo. on February 4th, 2014.  Both Authors of the BrewDogs of Colorado, The Original book and book II will be on-site to autograph the books, talk about how the book has become a vehicle for rescue dog associations to use as a fundraising tool and personalize each book with a special message.  Copper Kettle Brewing will be donating $1.00 per pint all day long to Mountain Pet Rescue, Pints for a PURPOSE!

“It is exciting to see how our local craft beer industry is growing and evolving each year. Colorado has almost 200 local craft beer breweries! Joining forces with pet rescue non-profits to raise money to save more dogs each year is a gift! Also raising awareness to puppy mills and spreading the message, “don’t shop, please adopt!” is true to our hearts!  said Brian Bennett, co-Author. I love to take the photos of these amazing dogs, hear about their rescue stories and how they have become and inspiration to the breweries on their next brew! said Becky Bennett, co-Author.

The joint effort event will take place at the tasting room of Copper Kettle Brewing.  Copper Kettle Brewing just recently adopted a BrewDog into their beer family.  Kristen Kozik and her family saved their dog Charlie, and he literally didn’t have anytime to spare!  He was on death row and Kristen knew, their brewery needed a BrewDog of their own, Frank the Tank their BrewCat, needed a buddy.  Copper Kettle Brewing limited edition BrewDogs of Colorado II book features Charlie and Hank on the cover.  A donation will be made to Mountain Pet Rescue for each book that is sold at this event ranging from $5 - $15 for the bundle.

"We worked with Mountain Pet Rescue in hopes of getting a brewery dog with no idea that we would get a true canine companion. Then when Charlie, our rescue dog, got on the front of the Brew Dogs of Colorado (with our cat in there too!), we were thrilled. We knew that when the opportunity to donate to Mountain Pet Rescue was available through our Pints for Purpose program and work in conjunction with our friends with Brew Dogs of Colorado, it was a no brainer", said Kristen Kozik Owner and Office Manager of Copper Kettle Brewing Company.
