Two Rivers Foods Secures Financing, Whole Foods Loan and Additional Product Placement

LYONS, Colo. - Feb. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Two Rivers Foods announced today it has received $100,000 in new financing from both new and previous investors and been granted a $60,000 Local Producer loan from Whole Foods.

Whole Foods Market provides low-interest loans to help grow small businesses, support the local community, provide all-natural and organic local product choices and to build environmental stewardship. Two Rivers Foods will use the loan for equipment and other business expansion.

The company also announced new distribution for its Solbites snack line in Stater Bros. Markets and expanded distribution to additional locations of The Fresh Market. Stater Bros. is the largest privately owned supermarket chain in Southern California with 167 locations and The Fresh Market operates 152 stores in 26 states.

Sobites, an all-natural, single-serving package containing whole wheat crackers and a choice of three different combinations of spreads, can currently be found at retailers including Food Town, Kroger/King Soopers, Whole Foods Market and Vitamin Cottage, as well as a number of independent retailers.
