CHI to Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of PEGS - the essential protein & antibody engineering summit

Over 1,600 scientists will convene at this annual event to celebrate the evolution of biologics, and the generation, characterization, and clinical application of proteins.

Jan. 31, 2014 - PRLog -- This Spring, Cambridge Healthtech Institute (CHI) will host its 10th Annual “PEGS - the essential protein engineering summit” at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

Over 1,600 participants will gather in Boston’s historic Seaport District for open forum discussions and collaboration in the areas of protein & antibody engineering, oncology, expression, analytical, safety, and - new this year- bioprocessing and therapeutics programming. The continued success of PEGS is driven by the growth in biologics worldwide, the quality of scientific programming presented and valuable networking opportunities.

A plenary keynote session will kick off the week with presentations from industry leaders Bahija Jallal, Ph.D., Executive Vice President of MedImmune, and George D. Yancopoulos, M.D., Ph.D., President, Regeneron Laboratories; CSO, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

The summit will offer over 375 presentations within 7 topic-focused streams comprised of 20 conferences, 17 short courses, over 100 exhibiting companies, and nearly 200 scientific research posters on display. Delegates can create their own agenda by moving between the tracks and choosing the sessions that best fit their research and networking needs.
