About The Author:
Dr. Don Weinhouse’s education and career have coincided with his pursuit of joy and personal and spiritual development. With an MA in special education and a PhD in educational counseling and guidance, he began as a kindergarten teacher before moving into early childhood special education and school administration and then into college teaching. After retiring as professor emeritus of special education at Colorado State University–Pueblo, he returned to working part-time with young children with special needs and their families in San Diego, California. His previous two books, Little Children Big Needs: Parents Discuss Raising Young Children With Special Needs and Encouraging Potential in Young Children, focus on helping people and bringing out the best within them. He has, for almost half of a century, been aware of the importance of the twenty topics of his third book and has diligently pursued self-improvement in each.
