FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. - Jan. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Fuquay Varina childcare center AsheBridge Children’s Academy will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on January 30, 2014. The Fuquay Varina Chamber of Commerce and members of the AsheBridge Children’s Academy family will welcome local government officials and other welcomed guests on a tour of the brand new state-of-the art preschool.

Jeffrey and Christine Teander are the owners and operators of the new Fuquay Varina preschool. The Teanders truly understand the importance of quality early childhood education.  Mrs. Teander explained, “Decades of research show that preschool builds a foundation for success in school and in life. Ninety percent of brain growth occurs before most children enter kindergarten. We take advantage of this period of rapid development to lay a strong educational and social foundation for school and beyond.  Our program offers quality preschool education with the hours of a traditional day care center.”

The child care center features six large classrooms, three grassy outdoor playgrounds, and an indoor gym area.  All exterior doors are protected by a keypad lock to prevent unauthorized entry.  A fingerprint recognition system is used to sign children in and out each day.  All teachers are highly qualified and thorough background checks have been performed.

The preschool philosophy is firmly rooted in the concepts of respect, responsibility, and community where children develop independence, self-esteem and an eager desire to learn.  The program exposes children to novel approaches to learning in an educational and visual environment.  The teachers at AsheBridge Children’s Academy “follow the child” to discover each child’s interests and learning styles.

Daily activities vytap focus not only on social and emotional development, but also intellectual development through the acquisition of helpful academic skills.  Children are naturally motivated and keenly interested in reading, so we offer activities that explore important literacy skills.  Through the structured preschool environment at AsheBridge Children’s Academy and a consistent daily routine, children are excited about coming to school to see their friends and teachers.  Children gain the tools to excel as lifelong learners.

The program offers the ideal balance of learning in an environment where they can just be children – creating visual arts, making music, dancing, dressing up, sensory experiences and much more, while engaging in carefully designed learning activities. AsheBridge Children’s Academy is dedicated to providing the best learning environment for the greatest development of children. The abilities and interests of individual children are highly valued and education is a natural process.
