More Sustainable Furniture Manufacture with Expansion of Craft Center at Naturewalk, Costa Rica
The Naturewalk Furniture Center, located in the Pavona Craft Village has been expanded to allow additional furniture manufacture in response to a number of recent large orders.
Naturewalk has recently received a number of large overseas orders for teak furniture which is skillfully crafted in the Naturewalk furniture center. To facilitate these orders the center has been significantly expanded.
Tim Alexander, President of Naturewalk, commented "we are delighted the Naturewalk teak furniture designs are proving so popular worldwide. These recent orders have required us to expand the furniture center significantly. Most importantly this will allow us to provide more local employment in the manufacture of these beautiful artisan furniture pieces. The Naturewalk brand is allowing the artisan craftsmen of the Pavona Craft Village to get their art to customers worldwide. The teak is sourced locally and this local sourcing supports more local employment. As Naturewalk has expanded it has become a large local employer and its further development and expansion will allow us to employ even more people from the surrounding area".
Naturewalk is a fully master planned community of 1200 acres in Turrubares Costa Rica. Owners in Naturewalk own fully serviced lots on which they can have their dream home. Owners further benefit from fully managed crops growing on their land, giving them an income. The masterplan for Naturewalk includes a condo hotel, eco hotel, adventure center, equine center and town center with shopping facilities in addition to homes.
