Ride Sharing for Small Planes
Flytenow connects those who dream of flying (Enthusiasts)
How it Works
Flytenow screens pilots and Enthusiasts for eligibility into the program both for safety and an interest in general aviation. Once accepted, pilots post their planned aviation adventures in which they have empty seats. Accepted Enthusiasts view these adventures and request to join. Flytenow then allows pilots to accept pro rata reimbursement for flying expenses. The result is that pilots can defray the costs of flying and Enthusiast can conquer the skies more affordably than ever.
Flytenow’s operates within the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Regulations for private pilots. Flytenow differentiates itself because it is not an air charter or broker service and does not offer air transportation services. Instead, Flytenow offers a method for pilots and Enthusiasts to engage in the genuine sharing of expenses as provided for under FAA Regulations. A key to Flytenow’s process is the manner in which pilots post aviation adventures, and the way Enthusiasts are able to engage in those adventures. In addition, Flytenow pilots dictate the location and always have the final say of who, when, and where they will be flying. Flytenow is endorsed and advised by Gregory Winton of The Aviation Law Firm. Mr. Winton has a breadth of aviation law experience, and having previously worked for the FAA, has a keen understanding of applicable law and an esteemed reputation.
Flytenow helps people live the dream of flight. Flytenow connects aviation enthusiasts with local pilots and facilitates ride sharing, making it the easiest and most affordable way to explore the sky.
