Jan. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- SEATTLE, WA, Jan. 29, 2014 – Using cameras to capture wildlife in their natural habitat poses challenges even for the experts. To help budding and amateur photographers African Safari Company (http://www.africansafarico.com/) has teamed up with wildlife photography experts, Nature Photography Adventures, who lead in-the-wild immersion workshops for serious shutterbugs.

The photo gurus are Bob Harvey and Diane Kelsey, who have built an excellent reputation using their cameras and teaching expertise to assist the development, management and promotion of nature-based tourism. They have been creating and leading photography trips to Africa since 2009.

For 2015, African Safari Company (http://www.africansafarico.com/) is now taking reservations for Nature Photography Adventures in:

Tanzania (http://www.africansafarico.com/safari/npa-tanzania/), an adventure that includes the following National Parks: Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti and Lake Manyara. This trip is timed to photograph the Great Migration in the Southern Serengeti.
Morocco (http://www.africansafarico.com/safari/npa-morocco/) that includes Rabat, Meknes, Fez, Erfoud, Merzouga Desert, Tinghir, Ouarzazate and Marrakech with particular attention to the diverse markets and the desert.
Botswana (http://www.africansafarico.com/safari/npa-botswana-15/) that includes Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park and Moremi Game Reserve on the Okavango Delta as well as two camps in the private game reserves for the most exclusive photography opportunities.

The company is also taking reservations for 2016 for Nature Photography Adventures in:

Namibia (http://www.africansafarico.com/safari/npa-namibia-14-2/) that visits Windhoek, Sossusvlei, the Namib Desert, Swakopmund, Damaraland, and Etosha National Park.
South Africa (http://www.africansafarico.com/safari/npa-southafrica/), a new destination for the company that includes Johannesburg, Sabi Sands Private Reserve, Greater Kruger National Park, iSimangaliso Wetland Park, Maputuland and KwaZulu Natal.

The photography duo work one-on-one with clients in the field and also assist through workshops so that photographers may learn, among others, how to:

Compose a shot
Pan with running animals to create a sense of motion
Take test exposures and test shots in advance of that perfect wildlife portrait
Shoot in difficult light
Work with the right shutter speed in a mixed light situation
Set up a soft background so that the animals stand out
Convey feeling and emotion in a photograph
Site yourself and the camera in such a way that the animal is oblivious to you

Each of the camps and lodges is handpicked for its location so the group can maximize their photography opportunities both in camp as well as out on game tracking activities.
