GER Is Platinum Sponsor for National Healthcare Preparedness Conference

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Jan. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Global Emergency Resources (GER) continued as the Platinum Sponsor for the second annual National Healthcare Coalition Preparedness Conference held in New Orleans, 11 – 13 December 2013.  The conference was organized by the National Healthcare Coalition Resource Center which provides technical assistance and facilitates collaboration among emerging and established healthcare coalitions.

The event creates a forum for leaders from multiple segments of the healthcare community to discuss comprehensive disaster planning, as well as share successful practices from established healthcare coalitions.  There were over 700 conference attendees with registrants from 49 states, the District of Columbia, and the territories of American Samoa and Guam.

GER’s participation in the conference was designed to stress the importance of integrated preparedness when approaching and planning emergency response at community, state, regional and national levels.
