"Regular Joe" to head largest California non-profit garage door association, CODA

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. - Jan. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- After many years of the presidential seat being occupied by someone from a manufacturing company, The California Operator & Door Association, CODA, has named Bill Haigh of Caliber Garage Doors, Inc.(a local garage door dealer/installer) as its new president. Bill Haigh joins 11 other board members: nine Directors, one Vice President and one Treasurer.

Long time board member, Bill Haigh looks forward to the opportunities ahead and is excited and ready to begin re-transforming the California non-profit trade organization.

Big plans for CODA include re-establishing connections in Northern California, making the association truly state wide and having its membership reflect it's growth; introducing social media as a communication and marketing platform and tool; launching email campaigns as a way to get out important industry news and information and improving their annual conference for its CA dealer/installer attendees.  As a California dealer/installer himself, Bill Haigh brings a refreshing and valuable point of view to a board, made up, almost entirely of manufacturers.
