Competitive Edge Series Announces Paula Kvarnberg as our Return Special Guest Speaker

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Jan. 27, 2014 - PRLog -- The panelists of the "Competitive Edge Series", extending advanced job search tools for HR in Transition and founding member, Mike Powers of LaRocca & Associates, are all very excited to announce the return of SMA South Florida's Past President and local SHRM chapter leader, Paula Kvarnberg, as our special guest speaker for the upcoming February workshop. Kvarnberg will lead an interactive discussion on leveraging social media during an active HR job search. Her presentation entitled, "Linked In or Locked Out" will take a behind the scenes look into what a recruiter might see while recruiting for HR professionals using linkedin.com.


The Competitive Edge Series, now starting it's 5th year as a grass roots/local SHRM chapter based outreach, is specifically designed for HR professionals who might be active or passive in their local job market. The monthly workshops, will also appear as a series of 45 minute webinars scheduled on the first Tuesday of every month at 5:35PM. The Feb. 4th workshop, held at the Delray Beach Public Library just East of I95, will run from 9:30AM to 11:00AM.
