2014 Spring & Summer Fun Expo for Kids February 15 at Flamingo Gardens
Camp directors from all over Broward and beyond will be on site to share information about their programs and to answer questions. This event connects parents and future campers with the resources they need to make informed decisions about their spring and summer plans. The expo will showcase a wide variety of options from sports, art and drama to environmental, academic and special needs.
“Every parent wants their child to have a summer to remember. There are so many wonderful programs available but parents may not have the time to do the research,” says Michelle Liem, Publisher Broward Family Life. "Our expo was designed to provide busy families with a one-stop shopping experience where they can visit with more than 50 camps while enjoying a fun-filled afternoon."
Camp Connections Spring & Summer Fun Expo is sponsored by Miami Children’s Hospital Outpatient Centers. "We pvjjq are honored to take part in the 2014 Camp Connections Expo. It is an extension of our commitment to provide the best for the children in the region and beyond,”said Frank Garcia, Regional Director of Ambulatory Services at Miami Children’s Hospital.
The tropical paradise of Flamingo Gardens will be the perfect backdrop for an interactive family experience. “This is a great opportunity to get kids outdoors and connect them with nature while simultaneously finding a summer camp for their interests," said Keith Clark, Managing Director & Director of Development of Flamingo Gardens. Children will have the opportunity to participate in a few of the fun activities they can expect at camp and also enjoy live performances, wildlife encounters, giveaways, food trucks and more.
